What does it feel like to drive to the end of Europe? This is DAY 6 of our epic journey from Stockholm to Nordkapp, and it is absolutely unreal! We just left BaseCamp and are driving the legendary E69 road, climbing higher and higher towards the North Cape Plateau. ???????? The landscape is out of this world—endless Arctic tundra glowing gold under the Midnight Sun, with lakes shimmering everywhere you look! ????????️ This is my THIRD time making this pilgrimage into the Arctic Circle (1999, 2009, and now in 2026!), and the magic NEVER fades. If you haven't seen the Arctic, you haven't truly seen anything yet. ❄️

We are going up... and up... straight towards the iconic Globe Monument at the "End of the World." The wind is cold, the air is pure, and the feeling of standing at 71° North is something I will never forget. ????️????️
???? Our Route: BaseCamp ➡️ E69 ➡️ Nordkapp View Point
The E69 is the world's northernmost road connected to a major international network, stretching 129 km through the breathtaking Finnmark region . We passed through the incredible undersea North Cape Tunnel—6.9 km long and plunging 212 meters below sea level ! The tundra and Arctic Ocean views are absolutely breathtaking .

???? Knivskjellodden Hike: For the TRUE adventurers, this is the actual northernmost point of Europe (1.5 km further north!). It's a challenging 17.7 km hike where you can look back at the Nordkapp cliff from the true top of Europe .
???? Kirkeporten Rock Arch: Drive down to Skarsvåg to see this famous natural rock arch that frames the North Cape Plateau perfectly .
???? King Crab Safari: The Barents Sea is famous for these massive beasts—you can even taste fresh king crab!
???? Gjesværstappan Bird Cliffs: One of Norway's largest seabird colonies, with thousands of puffins and gannets nesting here—a wildlife photographer's dream!
