After a cosy warm night sleeping cocooned in the Landrover with the diesel heater working well, plans for a lay in were ruined when Forestry Rangers turned up for work and told us all to move on ASAP!! No relaxing morning coffee or breakfast. It was all hands on deck to 'bug' out quick before we got into trouble with the authorities!
It was a challenging day driving on snow/ice roads initially along main route North on E45 until the satnav decided to take us overlanding but seeing a moose in the wild and stunning scenery made our late finish worthwhile.
However, we were not prepared for what awaited us at Tannforsen Waterfall, shockingly cold temperatures that would shape the rest of our journey North to Nordkapp?
Correction on my E45 slide, Gothenburg is in Sweden, not Norway as stated. My mistake oops. Sorry ????
