Extreme cold temperatures took us by surprise at Tannforsen Waterfall in the mountains near Are, Sweden on the border of Norway. -30c and the diesel heater ran out of fuel at 3am. We froze until the morning. The Landrover would not start. Lucky fellow Arctic Convoy colleagues were at hand to provide help. All hands on deck for hours. Gibbo got frostbite on fingers and toes. Finally, there was time to see the beautifully waterfall.
