The North Cape Plateau rising dramatically 307 metres from the Arctic Ocean. The northernmost point of the European continent accessible by road. True northernmost ipoint is some 18 miles further on foot. We made our way to the iconic globe monument battling extremely windy and icy conditions. The North Cape Hall was a welcome retreat from the conditions for a hot chocolate and Norwegian waffle.
