We begin at Ocean Terminal, boarding the beautiful Iona and settling in for an exciting week ahead.
Day at Sea
A relaxing start as we explore Iona’s food, entertainment, and stunning ocean scenery while cruising north toward Norway.
Stavanger
Our first port brings colourful streets, shops, and charming Norwegian culture—perfect for a scenic wander before returning for sail away.
Storm Drama & Cancelled Olden Port
Scheduled to visit Olden—my favourite port—we run into 60-knot winds and a major storm. The fjord becomes too dangerous to enter, turning the day into an unexpected sea day.
Evening Arrival in Flåm
The day turns around beautifully as we glide through the magnificent Sognefjord, arriving in Flåm as the sun drops behind the mountains.
Flåm & a Railway Adventure
A magical day in Flåm includes exploring the village and taking the world-famous Flåm Railway—a breathtaking journey through waterfalls, valleys, and mountains. A true highlight of the entire cruise.
Haugesund
Despite strong winds delaying our arrival, we make it safely to this more industrial Norwegian port. A local land train tour, wandering the town, and a visit to the delicious Kupcakehuset make for a relaxed final stop.
Final Sea Day & Return to Southampton
One last peaceful day at sea ends our voyage before disembarking back in Southampton—closing out an eventful, scenic, and unforgettable fjords adventure.
