P&O Iona – Haugesund, Sea Day & Disembarkation | Norwegian Fjords Adventure Part 3

✨ Day 5: Haugesund – Often called the “Home of the Viking Kings,” Haugesund delighted us with its picturesque harbour, colourful wooden houses, and fascinating Viking heritage. We took time to stroll along the waterfront, browse local shops, and soak in the laid-back Nordic atmosphere that makes this port so unique on a Norwegian fjords itinerary.

???? Day 6: Sea Day – After busy days of exploring, our sea day aboard the P&O Iona gave us a chance to slow down and see more of the ship itself. We take you on a tour around our balcony cabin, giving you a closer look at what it’s really like to stay in one of Iona’s comfortable staterooms. We also explore the onboard shops, showing what you can buy at sea – from souvenirs to designer items and duty-free bargains. It’s the perfect mix of relaxation and discovery before the final leg of our journey.

???? Day 7: Disembarkation at Southampton – The last morning brought mixed emotions as we returned to Southampton, officially ending our adventure through Norway’s stunning fjords. We share our final thoughts on sailing with P&O Iona, the highlights of the cruise, and a few tips for anyone thinking of booking a similar itinerary.
