We are here in Oslo, NORWAY and we are visiting viking museums, viking boats (I love it), viking village and viking communities.
In this video I am going to show an impressive viking church from 17th hundred's, viking shipping building and a not so very busy viking kitchen preparing food of an easy receipt! See beautiful viking costumes. Did you know that women were not allowed to enter the church through the front door during the viking period?
The vikings were a feared Scandinavian invader from the late 700’s AD. Over three centuries their ships carried warriors to nearby and distant lands, which included to say a few Iceland, Faroe Island and northern Europe. They were able to travel far in their well buit boats to Northern Africa, the Middle East, the Mediterranean and Canada, etc... Doing battle as pirates, raiders and traders, the Viking voyagers formed settlements and governments in many parts of the world!
