Welcome to Frontiers Echo — where we take you to the edges of the world, one frame at a time.
In this video, we drift above one of the most iconic and remote destinations on Earth: Nordkapp (North Cape), Norway — a dramatic clifftop plateau standing 307 metres above the Barents Sea, widely regarded as the northernmost point of mainland Europe.
Filmed across two extremes of the year, witness the raw stillness of the Arctic winter, where snow blankets the plateau in near-total silence and the sun barely grazes the horizon — and the golden magic of the midnight sun in summer, where daylight never fades and the world glows in endless warm light.

A few facts about North Cape:
∙ ???? Located at 71°10’21” N on the island of Magerøya, in the county of Finnmark, Norway
∙ ☀️ The midnight sun is visible from mid-May to the end of July
∙ ???? During polar night, the sun doesn’t rise at all from mid-November to late January
∙ ????️ Winter temperatures can drop as low as −20°C (−4°F)
∙ ???? The area has been a landmark for sailors and Arctic explorers for centuries
∙ ???? The surrounding region is home to Sámi culture and large herds of reindeer

Few places on Earth show the contrast of seasons as dramatically as North Cape. We hope this footage brings you a moment of calm and wonder, wherever you are in the world.
