During the clean-up work, over 2,000 tons of rock were removed from the road, divided into 160 truckloads. The largest rock weighed approx. 110 tons. It took 15 truckloads to remove it. The landslide has created a crater of one and a half meters in the road. It has also caused extensive damage to the area.

The rockslide happened in Fjæra, Etne Municipality, Norway on March 1 2026.
