Lysefjord, Norway - Must Visit Place

Lysefjord is a fjord in the county of Rogaland in Norway. It is one of the deepest and most spectacular fjords in Norway. The mouth of the fjord lies about midway between the cities of Stavanger and Bergen, about 150 kilometers from each.

The Lysefjord area has been settled since at least 4,000 years ago. The oldest evidence of human settlement is found on the island of Karmøy, where there are traces of a largely agricultural society that was active around 4000 BC.
