Our first official stop and how goes on in Norway we are on the Britannia cruise with P&O. This is our first official stop so we arrived early in the morning. We’ve been told by the captain that we had to be back earlier than planned because there was a weather front for coming through, so our trip had been cancelled when we got outside of the ship and on dry land we were met with a few options , all spoke great English and we actually booked with another tour operator so we had a couple of hours to walk round HAUGESAND on our own which we did we found monuments a lovely little coffee shop , now note we were here on Sunday so not a lot was open . We were told to meet at the main church at 12 o’clock and we would be picked up and we would be taken to the rising tides which is one of the monuments that we really wanted to see originally they were in London the UK and when the tide come in tide came out obviously the horses would appear we also because of this trip we ended up going to a Norwegian house cabin farm it’s a sheep farm called Tom and his wife and we got to explore and understand a bit about the farming life the preservation of the local wildlife and we had our first taste of traditional Norwegian waffles which was amazing All in all apart from the weather and it was a beautiful first stop lots of walking lots of sightseeing I hope you’ve enjoyed it.
