"Hello, and welcome to our channel. Most people who ride a motorcycle to Northern Norway do it to take a selfie by the well-known globe at the North Cape. That is all well and good. We have done that too, but now we have a slightly different plan.
This is first and foremost our vacation and motorcycle trip. But we are making it a little more than just that. We are going on a journey through time. We call it 'The Great Christianization Journey'.
We will start with the Vikings in Vestfold, then we'll ride through the dark valleys where the stave churches stand like dragons in the forest. And a bit about the dark times with the Black Death in 1359. Or was it 1358? Stay tuned and you will get the answer.
The trip will criss-cross a bit in the south, before we continue all the way up to Finnmark. Where the witches burned and the border to the east was drawn.
We will ride almost 6,000 kilometers on two enduro bikes. Through gravel, rain, and probably a bit too much wind. The guy behind the camera is in charge of the technical stuff, while I... I will tell the stories hidden in the walls.
