A guitar. A promise. Fifty-four years.

In 1972, during the Folk Song Festival in Haugesund, Norway, a young Welsh folk singer lost the guitar that had been his faithful companion on stage.

More than half a century later, that same guitar found its way back to its rightful owner.

This short captures the unforgettable moment when he opens the old guitar case and is reunited with the instrument he thought he would never see again.

The original black-and-white footage from the 1972 festival is included, making this reunion even more emotional.

This scene is taken from my musical short film "A Place Called Italy" – a story about friendship, memory, and a promise that refused to fade with time.
