A non-verbal environmental journey through the Tana River Valley, Norway by @silenttravelguide. This video captures the genuine flow of our travels—from the natural light to the organic sounds of the environment. No music, no commentary—just a real-time observation as it unfolds.
The Experience
Join us—and Pip, our wire-haired dachshund—as your fellow travelers. Today, we departed from the Lapinkylä campsite in Utsjoki, Finland, and crossed the border into Norway. As we followed the winding road along the Tana River—known as Tenojoki in Finland and Deatnu in the Sami language—the landscape opened up in a beautiful, raw display of Arctic nature. We found ourselves immersed in the rhythmic, honest flow of the road, even encountering a reindeer on the road. Along the way, we made a dedicated stop to film the river's flow, and upon arriving at our final destination, we captured some quiet, atmospheric shots of the landscape right by the Tana Bru bridge. It was a calm, meditative travel experience, characterized by the crisp northern air and the peaceful ambiance of the river valley. Everything is shared exactly as we experienced it, offering an honest rhythm of our surroundings.
