In this vlog, I have explained the history of daylight saving time, why it was introduced, and how it has evolved over time. Including the effects it has on energy usage, productivity, and public health.

Daylight saving time in Norway will start on last Sunday of March, when clocks will be moved forward by one hour at 2:00 am local time. Daylight saving time will end on last Sunday of October, when clocks will be moved back by one hour at 3:00 am local time.

Currently, around 70 countries worldwide observe daylight saving time, although the exact number can vary as some countries have changed their policies over the years.
Some countries, particularly those located closer to the equator, do not observe daylight saving time.

In USA daylight saving time starts on the second Sunday of March each year & Daylight saving time ends on the first Sunday of November each year.

Daylight Saving Time (DST) was first proposed by Benjamin Franklin in 1784. However, it was not widely adopted until the 20th century. After that proposed by New Zealand entomologist George Hudson in 1895.
