After leaving our final port of Haugesund we started on our journey back to Southampton. We a woke to a glorious morning somewhere in the North Sea . We chose to go to the MDR for our breakfast this morning, unfortunately my egg was totally undercooked which was a shame . Seems to be a thing with cruise ships where the eggs are undercooked .
Then we headed to the Atrium for a game of cards and a cup of Coffee before nipping back to the room to do a bit of packing .
Next stop was Brodies for a drink and we listened to the Quiz . So into the Theatre for Deal or no Deal . £35 for three cards , as usual a total waste of money , but we had a bit of fun . We then had lunch up in the Sky Dome before walking around the decks and enjoying the sunny conditions.
After getting ready for the evening we headed straight to the Emerald bar for a drink and to listen to our favourite Pianist Jamie Lees . Then we headed to the MDR for our evening meal which was very nice . We enjoyed the Busker Greg Johnson in Brodies then headed back up to the Sky dome to catch some of the show... Rise . Ending our final evening in the Clubhouse and the Crows Nest .
The following morning we were back in Southampton , we had to be out of the room by 8 am .We had breakfast in the buffet before disembarking he ship and heading over to the CPS car park to pick up our keys for the journey home .
We had a fantastic time on Iona , the Fjords were stunning as normal and the weather was absolutely perfect .
